3D Design
Unlock creativity through digital modeling and simple design tools.
About Our 3D Design
3D Design is an exciting part of the STEMpower Through Art project, giving young participants the chance to explore digital creativity through simple modelling tools and hands-on design tasks. By working with basic shapes, colours and structures, participants learn how to transform ideas into digital objects while developing spatial awareness and creative confidence.
Made learning fun and exciting!

3D Design
Engaging young minds through digital creativity.
What We Do in Our 3D Design Workshops
In our 3D design sessions, young people:
experiment with basic geometric shapes
build simple 3D objects, characters or everyday items
explore colours, textures and visual style
create small digital art pieces or design prototypes
learn how digital models move, rotate and interact in a 3D space
Workshops are structured so that participants can follow clear steps while exploring their own creativity.
Inclusive and Accessible Approach
To ensure that all young people can participate comfortably, we use:
step-by-step visual guides
simplified modelling tasks
demonstrations and live examples
mentor support during each activity
tools that reduce complexity and focus on creativity
This approach makes 3D design accessible for beginners and enjoyable for young people with diverse learning profiles.
Skills Developed Through 3D Design
Through 3D design, participants strengthen:
creativity and visual expression
spatial reasoning
digital literacy
problem-solving and experimentation
attention to detail
confidence in using design tools
3D design encourages young people to think in new dimensions, understand how objects are built and discover the digital side of creativity.s.
